The energy-saving transformation of the heat pump in the distillation section of the (ortho) chlorotoluene production unit of 50000 mts/year of Changzhou xindong chemical industry development Co.,Ltd. received key support from the provincial special funds in the field of green transformation and upgrading projects. It is worth noting that only three companies in the city have received key support in the field of green transformation and upgrading projects, and Xindong Chemical is one of them.

The special fund is to give full play to policy guidance and leverage, promote the high-quality development of industry and information industry and industrial transformation and upgrading, improve the quality and efficiency of economic development, and improve the capacity and level of public services. The selected companies are generally considered to represent the highest level and development direction of industry and informatization in Jiangsu Province.

Xindong Chemical’s heat pump energy-saving transformation project is a typical demonstration case of heat pump technology transformation in the chemical industry. It not only converts foreign advanced rectification packing technology into productivity and increases the economic benefits of the device, but more importantly, it uses technology of the heat pump rectification energy-saving developed by universities to realize transformation of technical achievements based the (ortho) chlorotoluene plant, and achieve energy saving of 16,272 tons of standard coal, and at the same time achieve the rooting of the results of production, education and research.

It is reported that the project will receive a subsidy of no more than 10% of the total project investment, and the highest will receive no more than 10 million yuan in free support. The successful selection of this project has not only helped the transformation and upgrading of Binjiang New Material Industrial Park, but also further enhanced the reputation and image of Xindong Chemical, and played a positive role in the company's high-quality development.
